What is included

A Vaselli project with us usually covers the whole path from first idea to a finished, installed piece:

• Stone selection — talking through the stones available and how each one looks and behaves in a bathroom.
• Design drawings — measured drawings of your basin, vanity or surround so you can see sizes, thicknesses and details before anything is cut.
• Basins and vanity units — freestanding or fitted, sized to your room rather than a standard module.
• Worktops and surrounds — vanity tops, shelves, bath and shower surrounds worked to match.
• Delivery and installation — stone brought to site and set in place by our own team.

We can also combine stone with bespoke joinery from our Watford workshop, so drawers, doors and storage under a stone top are made to suit the same design.

How it works

1. Consultation. We talk through the bathroom, how it will be used, the look you want and how the Vaselli pieces fit with the rest of the scheme.
2. Survey. We measure the room on site and check services, floors and access, so the design is based on the real space.
3. Stone and design choices. You choose the stone and we finalise drawings — sizes, edges, waste positions, any joinery underneath.
4. Making. Your pieces are prepared to the approved drawings, with joinery made at our workshop on Shakespeare Industrial Estate in Watford.
5. Installation. We deliver and install, working to the programme agreed with you and your other trades.

Why choose us

Stone is heavy, unforgiving and expensive to get wrong, so we do not hand it over to whoever is on site that week. Our own team handles the fitting, which means the person setting your basin has seen the drawings and knows how the piece was made.

We are also used to working alongside other trades. Your bathroom fitter, plumber, tiler or main contractor needs to know when we are coming, what we need ready and what we leave behind for them. We coordinate that with them directly so the sequence works and nobody is waiting on anybody.

Because our joinery workshop is in Watford, London and Hertfordshire projects are close by, which helps when a survey, a sample or a site visit is needed at short notice.

How a price is given

There is no fixed price list for stone. The cost depends on the pieces you need, their size and thickness, the stone you choose and how much joinery goes with them. We quote per project once the design is agreed and the stone is chosen, so the figure you get relates to your bathroom rather than an average.

If you have a budget in mind, tell us early. It is far easier to shape the design and the stone choice around a number at the start than to redraw it later.

Frequently asked questions

How do I look after a stone basin or worktop?

Care depends on the stone you choose — some are more porous than others and need different cleaning and sealing. We will explain what your chosen stone needs before you commit, and again when we hand over.

How long does a Vaselli bathroom take?

Lead times vary with the pieces specified and the stone selected. Ask us when you enquire and we will give you a realistic timescale for your project, along with the dates we would need to hold in your build programme.

Can I see the stone before I decide?

Yes — choosing stone from a photograph is never ideal. Get in touch and we will arrange for you to see samples and talk through the options at our showroom and workshop in Watford.

Will you work with my plumber and bathroom fitter?

Yes. We agree the sequence with them before we install, including what needs to be ready on site and where services should sit, so the stone goes in cleanly and their work follows on without delay.
