We look after the whole kitchen, from the first sketch to the last handle. A typical project includes:

• Site survey — accurate measurements taken at your home, so the cabinetry is made to the real room.
• Design and CAD drawings — a layout worked through with you, presented as clear drawings you can understand and share with your builder or architect.
• Cabinetry made in our Watford workshop — carcasses, doors, drawers and details built by our own joiners.
• Worktops — templated and specified to suit the design and the way you use the kitchen.
• Appliance planning — sizes, services and positions agreed early so nothing has to be forced in later.
• Painting and finishing — finishes applied in controlled workshop conditions rather than in a dusty building site.
• Installation — fitted by a team that knows how the furniture was built.

How it works, step by step

1. First conversation

Tell us about the house, the room and roughly what you want the kitchen to do. We'll talk about style, storage and how the project fits with the rest of your building work.

2. Home survey

We visit and measure. We check ceiling heights, services, floor levels and where windows and doors land, because those details shape the design.

3. Design presentation

We show you the layout and CAD drawings, walk you through materials and finishes, and change things until it's right. You can visit our Watford showroom and workshop to see and handle the real thing.

4. Making

Once the design and drawings are signed off, your kitchen is built in our workshop, then painted and finished there.

5. Installation

Our fitters install the kitchen at your home, working to the agreed programme and around your other trades.

6. Aftercare

Doors and drawers can settle in the first months. We'll come back and adjust anything that needs it — please ask us to confirm the aftercare terms in writing with your quotation.

How we price a kitchen

Every Intervari kitchen is quoted after the design, not before it. That's because the price depends on the size of the room, the number of pieces, the materials and finishes you choose, the worktops and the appliances you want built in.

We won't quote a figure over the phone that we can't stand behind. What we will do is talk honestly about your budget at the first meeting, so you know early whether we're the right fit. If the budget and the brief don't match, we'll say so before you spend time on drawings.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a bespoke kitchen take?

It depends on the size of the kitchen and how busy the workshop is when you order. As a guide, allow time for the survey and design stage, then a making period in the workshop, then installation. We'll give you dates for your project once the design is agreed — please ask us to confirm current lead times when you enquire.

Can you work alongside my builder?

Yes. We regularly work as part of a wider renovation or new build, taking direction from your builder's programme and from architects and interior designers. We'll agree who does what — services, floors, plastering, decoration — before we arrive, so our fitters aren't tripping over other trades.

What if I want to change the design partway through?

Changes are easy at the drawing stage and we expect them — that's what the design presentation is for. Once your kitchen is in production, changes are harder and may affect cost and timing, so we'll always talk them through with you first.

What happens if a door drops or a drawer fails later on?

Get in touch and we'll look at it. Because we made the furniture ourselves in Watford, we know exactly how it was built and can adjust, repair or remake parts. Ask us to confirm the guarantee that applies to your kitchen in your quotation.
